46th (Belfast) Company

 

The 46th (Belfast) Company (otherwise known as the 1st Belfast Company, or A (Belfast) Company), comprising two officers and 116 men, sailed from Dublin for England on board the s.s. Cambrai on 2 March 1900, together with the 54th (Belfast) Company. The following day they sailed from Albert Docks, London, on board the s.s. Cornwall arriving in Capetown on 28 March. The Company left South Africa on board the s.s. Mongolian on 8 May 1901.

Their regimental numbers ran from 9361 to 9476 and 9596-9600.
