Religion: Not recorded on enlistment, but 1901 Census has family as Presbyterian.

DEATH

Floyd was among 44 men of the 60th and 61st Companies captured by Boer forces on 22 December 1900 near Houtkraal. He was one of the seven men wounded (slightly) in the fighting prior to the surrender. They were all released to following day, having been relieved of their arms, equipment and horses.
